The course consists of
Consultations: every Wednesday, 12:15-13:00 (F31SEM)
Supervisor: Baksa Kolok
The consultation on March 11 is canceled.
Students solve assigned homework problems, and their understanding is assessed through four short in-class tests. During the semester, students work in pairs on a longer project assignment, which they present in the form of a written report and a short oral presentation. Consultation is available during the consultation sessions. All assignments and projects are based on the material covered in the Advanced Quantum Mechanics lecture course.
Requirements:
Four short written tests (maximum points: 25). Expected dates of the tests: March 18, April 15, May 6, May 27.
One project work presented in written and oral form (maximum points: 100).
Minimum requirement: tests > 40 & project work > 40.
Evaluation:
The end result is computed in the following way:
each test has a maximum points of 25
the project work has a maximum point of 100
final points = (tests+project work)/2
marked using the following limits:
Score Evaluation Mark
0-39.9 fail 1
40-54.9 pass 2
